Review of Séraphine (2008) by Klaus P — 30 May 2010
A delicately told film about the doomed artist, Seraphine Louis, where the performance of Yolanda Moreau in the title role is as striking and spellbinding as the paintings themselves. The film's pace can be a little pedestrian at times, but this does little to mar the high standards the film rests itself on, scene after scene.
