Review of Seraphim Falls (2007) by Dustin G — 12 Aug 2008
Good movie, but the best part of it was the amazing performance by Pierce Brosnan. I love post-Bond Brosnan, he's so good and usually chooses sweet movies.
Anyway, this is a post civil war western chase revenge movie that feels while you're watching it like an HBO show or made for tv movie, thanks to the low budget and indie feel. That doesn't hurt the movie so much though, as the acting and cinematography carry the film along. See it if you're a fan of westerns or of post-Bond Brosnan. Word of warning though, terribly stupid ending that makes no sense and is a weak hollywood cop out.
