A solid western, and I was particularly surprised by Brosnan's performance, though Liam Neeson held up his end too.
My only complaint is Anjelica Huston's role. Nothing against her, but it kind of ruined the tone of the ending. It feels like it belongs to another movie. I'm all for surrealism and metaphors, but if the first 3/4s of your film are done in a realist style, it's poor form to pull a bait and switch ending on us. I still enjoyed it overall.
