Review of September (1987) by Mathyou C — 18 Jun 2005
For Father's Day, instead of staying home and doing a double feature of the crap-tastic Getting Even With Dad (starring Macaulay Culkin as a young whippersnapper who enjoys playing practical jokes on his newly discovered dad, Ted Danson in a career-defining role) and Father's Day (who thought a movie with Billy Crystal AND Robin Williams would have a chance of being tolerable?), my brothers and I opted to go golfing with my father. Unfortunately, my golf balls had a fear of flying, as well as many other phobias (such as travelling). I had many thirsty balls, and I was kind enough to send them swimming. Basically, I sucked; oh, and I almost killed my brother about five times (and it wasn't always deliberate). The tree shouldn't have been there anyway. I was more fascinated by the gophers I saw, which wobbled around Caddyshack-style. I did manage to shoot par on one hole, however.
I have realized that I am extremely irritated by the fact that MTV/VH1 plays the best music when it is simply serving as background music to their inane reality shows/countdowns. And I am even more angered by the fact that I wasted three hours of my life watching the guilty (and oh so watchable) "100 Greatest Kid Stars", and enjoying it. I need help.
If you want thoughts, or you would like to bitch/complain/argue about my grades, just throw down your fists -- or comment.
