While one evening I was flipping around different channels, I caught this particular film called; "September". I'm not sure but I think I've seen this particular film before. What I do know is this film is wonderful. Woody Allen did another great film. The cast which includes Mia Farrow, Elaine Stritch, and Dianne Wiest among other talent cast members that bring to life this wonderful script. The script reminded me of a biography of Lana Turner and her daughter Cheryl but the names were changed. I'm not sure if Mr. Allen meant to do it or not but it sure was entertaining. "September" is about a daughter who is having her long time friend as well as her parents over for the weekend. During all of this the daughter falls in love with an author that is renting a room from her. The daughter reveals that she had some mental issues and is on the road to recovery. When she realizes she has some unfinished issues with her mother that could put her back into mental illness. During the film the audience realizes that the daughter still harbors resentment towards the mother. While all of this is being played out the author falls in love with the married friend. There are parts to this film that are sad and funny. I would suggest this film to any one. I really enjoyed this film. I got the feeling that even if a person isn't a big Woody Allen fan, that they could actually enjoy this particular film. Please see what you think..
