Review of Senso (1954) by David S — 02 Jun 2010
Ok. visconti and his asistants zerirelli and rosi, with dialogues by tennessee williams and paul bowles. again 19th century italy and again a melodramatic aristrocratic love story. and, again, a trully good film, speciall the last half hour.
when she goes to meet him and he welcomes her drunk and with a prostitute in the bedroom. her black cape and her moves makes her look like a spectre in distress. a joy to watch.
