Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Moses G — 30 May 2010
This movie has the delicate and intricate fabric of subtle emotion pitted against impetuous almost hyper melodrama, it is the ebb and flow of waves that we think nothing of, but overwhelm us when least expecting it.
..the apex and climax of Emma Thompson's acting near the final scenes is about as magical as movie making can be - it socked me in the throat, it did.
