ARGH! All right I have to admit that this is my least favorite Jane Austen book to start off with but even these guys miss the mark on this one.

Emma Thompson (awesome I love her) was a tad too old to play the 20 something Elenor. Kate Winslet should NOT be a blonde. Hugh Grant tried to make a romantic hero out of a guy that was a wuss. There were a few redeeming features, Alan Rickman as the gentle Coronal Brandon and Hugh Laurie as the snarky Mr. Palmer. It just too bad they made Alan grey haired. 35 is too old for a character to have grey hair.
