Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Trevor H — 01 Apr 2011
What a dream cast for Ang Lee to direct! The best of the Brits with Thompsn, Rickman, Grant, Staunton, Winslet excelling in this adaptation of Jane Austen's novel. The screenplay was written by Emma Thompson and she did such a fine job with it.
Add to the above the tremendous cinematography in classic olde English countryside, and it's a film that's hard to fault.
