Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Marilee A — 10 Jul 2011
This is one of my favorite Austen adaptions with a great script and fabulous actors. I was disappointed when I tried to read the book because there is very little dialogue at all, so my favorite scenes in the movie were constructed from brief paragraphs (brilliantly, I might add).
It was also nice to see Alan Rickman as the tragic hero instead of the villain.
