Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Calvin C — 30 Nov 2014
One of the better Jane Austen adaptations to hit the big screen. The writing is top notch thanks to Emma Thompson's Oscar-winning screenplay. The cast is great including Thompson, a young Kate Winslet and Alan Rickman. The fact that Ang Lee directed shows how he never makes the same film once and can do any genre and do it well.
Grade: A-.
