Review of Senna (2010) by Craig I — 29 Nov 2011
I loved Ayrton Senna when I was younger and his death was a great loss for F1 and for the motor racing world.
This documentary showcases his life and rather than doing this through glorifying his death, it tells us who he was through his friends, his rivals and his family.
I don't mind saying that I found it pretty heart wrenching stuff, there's a lot I didn't know about Senna that this film brings to light (like his donation of millions to South America's poor) that just blew me away.
I don't think this could have been done better.
