Review of Senna (2010) by Neil G — 21 Mar 2015
As an ardent Formula One fan, Senna was always going to be brilliant. Despite initial apprehensions over the fact that it was a documentary I can safely say that it is one of, if not the best sports film ever made.
I usually dislike sports dramas but Senna is an utterly captivating experience. The brilliance of the film is not only the racing but also the personal perspectives of Aryton himself.
Although knowledge or a passing interest in the sport will likely increase individual enjoyment, Senna is a film to behold. Nothing short of a masterpiece.
