What can I say, I'm not immune to the charms of Ryan Reynolds, even when it's toned down a bit. I though this was a competent sci-fi/thriller, executed well. Is it the best sci-fi/thriller I've seen? No.
Is it the best upload/download the brain flick (which is a favorite trope of mine)? No. But it wasn't a 34% either. If you went into this looking for some philosophical diatribe on digital vs. organic life, you'll be disappointed.
If you go in looking for a Ryan Reynolds action flick, you'll be fine.
