Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by Jo T — 25 Oct 2013

This movie starts off as your standard garden shed apocalyptic rom-com, but deveops into a much deeper, profound, and heart breaking story which explores humanity at its most vunerable. This movie certainly had the recipe to just be another over the top Steeve Carell film, and I applaud them for taking it in a new, and captivating direction.

Kiera Knightly was fantastic in this film and the match up with Steeve was unpredictable, unusual, and at times awkward, but it just...worked. Seeking a friend et al, is funny, heart felt, and simply, a pleasure to watch.
