?Again, against all odds, against critics & other users reviews, I watched this ... and again I am glad I did.
Steve Carell never stopped amazing me with his take on "average" aka dull characters, people who are so ordinary, the calmness, then the vulnerability which unfolds along the story.
It might seem that these characters would've never saw anything in each other if it wasn't for "Matilda", its quite understandable that great catastrophes make people acknowledge the good in others, maybe even start appreciating certain qualities that would've -in other circumstance- be over looked .... too bad though that the catastrophe at hand is an asteroid and everyone is going to die.
