Think Dan in Real Life combined with Melancholia, except that this film isn't as good as either of those. I liked this movie, but it's not really a comedy. It's more of a apocalyptic romance with the occasional humorous anecdote.

Don't expect to be laughing too much. I'm a fan of Carell and Knightly, and they both play their parts well. I was satisfied, though I think it could have been better. 7.5 rounded up to an 8.
