Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by Jumpit J — 25 May 2013

This isn't a "Deep Impact" or "2012" type of flick showing all the death and destruction about to take place. Rather, amidst a population resorting to narcotics and whatever else they can find to numb the pain, two strangers meet and find a way to make something meaningful with the time they have left.

At times the movie felt a little claustrophobic because of the inevitable ending, which added to a shuttle suspense. Very good acting all around. Somewhat sad, and a sobering concept.
