Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by Gavin D — 04 Jul 2013

I don't laugh at many movie jokes, so maybe that's why I'm not as disappointed as many people were that this was less of a comedy than they had hoped, or were led to believe. Going into this film expextationless has led me to one of my favorite movie experiences in recent memory.

Honestly, I didn't very much like Kiera Knightley before, so it came as a shock to have fallen in love with her here. As for Carell, come on, what's not to like. But I digress. This film moved me unlike many films before it, an unexpectedly sweet experience.

I don't care what anyone thought was wrong with it. I loved this film.
