Review of See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) by Tyler W — 25 Jul 2008

I'm really glad I managed to catch a viewing of this. I think this is the first Richard Pryor movie I've seen, and the first with Gene Wilder besides Willy Wonka. These are two hilarious men. I need to see more of their stuff.

I can tell it just comes naturally to them. The chemistry is unreal and almost every scene had me laughing. Kudos to the writers for taking an idea like this and executing it to almost perfection. Such a smart idea could have been ruined and not near as funny, but I think they capitalized on every opportunity and really hit the jackpot.
