Review of See No Evil (2006) by Tom R — 27 Oct 2010
It's good that there's awfully crappy movies like See No Evil because without them, how would we appreciate the good ones? It has the least surprising twist ending I have seen in a horror film to date, I can't remember any of the characters names (because they all had such memorable personalities), and it has a very dumb script with the feel of a horrible horror remake.
.. except this movie is not a remake at all! It has A.D.D. direction, weird cinematography choices, and there is no scares or any real suspenseful moments. You might appreciate a few of the gory moments if you're into that kind of stuff, but gore alone doesn't make a good story (although it will add to a cliche-ridden one).
You're not missing anything by skipping See No Evil... except maybe a death where an annoying chick gets a cell phone shoved down her throat.
