This is probably Maggie Gyllenhaal's finest performance. It will definitely not be for everyone, because it shines a spotlight on a burgeoning Dominance and Submission relationship. For the uninitiated, like myself, it was an interesting peek into some pretty unconventional psyches and how you people can find happiness in the most unlikely situations.
In a word, Spank-erific.
