Review of Secretariat (2010) by Amber W — 18 Feb 2011
It is another of those films that is not either bad or good, is REGULAR. Yes, as you read it, and is another film I do NOT recommend, unless you are studying HISTORY class and need a way to enjoy the film of Secretariat, or less, read the novel based on this story.
Plot: Based on the Novel "Secretariat: The Making of a Champion" By William Nack, Secretariat chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner. Will Penny sell the farm? Will Secreatiat win the races? Umm, I think that was spoiled somewhere here...umm, yep, it was XD.
Acting: It was a nice cast, nice skills and everything nice. But from that to inspired by it? Nope. Stars? Just a few for the effort this talented cast made (they have done better acting in other films).
Music: Inspiration by the score? Did I felt some? Neither. But it was a nice one for a film like this one, which somehow remind me of those documentals, ugh.
To end this review (I'm not saying it was bad or good, just REGULAR), 3 stars of 5. Enjoy and if you wish to know more of this film, watch it, a review will MAYBE help you, but you CANNOT judge UNLESS you HAVE seen the film (no matter what movie it is). HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS!!!
