Review of Secretariat (2010) by Sean M — 27 May 2011
You can count on Disney to make a formulaic, yet solid sports movie. Secretariat is nowhere near as good as Miracle or Remember the Titans, but it was still worth a watch. The real-life story of the greatest racing horse of all time is rather incredible and it was interesting to see it as a Hollywood narrative.
In the future Iâ(TM)d like to see Disney make a few more sports movies based on the great sporting events of the past. How about a Michael Jordan or Vince Lombardi movie?
