Review of Seabiscuit (2003) by Nathaniel S — 05 Jan 2009

I re-watched this today for the first time since seeing it a couple of years ago, and I fell for the whole thing! There's something about the cheesy, melodramatic, rooting for the underdog feel throughout the movie that makes you feel good and stand up and cheer.

I found the racing scenes very thrilling and well done. The attention to detail just took my breath away. A very solid movie, but I'm not sure if it deserved a Best Pic nomination.
