Review of Seabiscuit (2003) by Matt M — 25 Dec 2013
Feelgood drama about the three men who turned a seemingly untamable horse into a racing champion who in the process became a symbol of the American Great Depression. This film is the typical well made feelgood drama that is very respectful of its time and with some genuine sentimentality that makes it easily appealing.
As well as that, director Gary Ross makes a good use of nostalgia to make the whole experience even more enjoyable.
