Review of Seabiscuit (2003) by Jeff F — 15 Feb 2009

I really enjoyed this film and wished that I had seen it in the theatre. I had never known the facts about Seabiscuit's story just the legend about the horse. This is a very interesting story. In the film we get to know each character/person because the film takes time to show us their vulnerable sides as well as their strong sides.

A film is much more engrossing when you feel a connection with the characters, as far as I think. Tobey Maguire, Jeff Bridges, and Chris Cooper all share the load of carrying the film, and each one of them did a fantastic job.

There is also a very good supporting cast in this film.
