Review of Sea of Love (1989) by Sam R — 12 Oct 2008
Engaging thriller with Al Pacino at his best as a cop trying to sniff out a serial killer through dating agencies (it makes sense in context). Tension mounts, especially when his emotions get in the way.
It's pretty gripping and has a sly sense of humour, only the end is a bit disappointing, when the killer is revealed. It does make sense I guess but it kinda feels like they're cheating here. Still overall a good movie.
