David Fincher's Seven is one of the most well made and well crafted mystery films of all time. This is a fantastically well made, dark and disturbing film that I just love. This film stars Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman and both of them are fantastic.

Both of the characters are cliches but the brilliant thing is both Pitt and Freeman are so good that they make you forget they are playing cliches. Brad Pitt is great and his character could've been quite annoying but he's great and Pitt gets to really prove how great he is in the ending of this film.

Morgan Freeman however steals the show and this is one of his best performances. His character is again a huge cliche but he's great and gives an Oscar worthy performance. Gwyneth Paltrow gives probably her best performance I've seen.

This movie is also amazingly directed by David Fincher who keeps this film nail bitingly tense throughout and gives us possibly the best movie ending ever. The writing is also fantastic as this film just never lets up and is a very disturbing film.

Seven is known as one of the most disturbing films ever and yeah it is but it was a great choice from Fincher to decide to only show the aftermath of the murders because if he had showed the murders this film just would have been too much.

One of the most disturbing sections here is the Lust sequence; we don't see anything in this scene only the aftermath buts it's just so disturbing due to the suggestion and implication and a fantastic performance from Leland Orser.

This film is extremely tense, especially the chase scene and the ending. Speaking of which Seven has one of the best endings ever. As in mentioned it's extremely tense and disturbing but it's also very emotional.

Seven is a technical masterpiece with amazing cinematography and lighting which makes the city the film is set seem almost like a character. The way the city is presented is amazing and is an extremely gritty and harsh environment.

Fincher also decided to never say where the film is set which makes this film even more disturbing as you feel like the film could happen anywhere. The editing is also great and this film is never boring.

I don't really have any problems here this film is just that good. Seven is masterpiece of a film and one of Fincher's best along with Fight Club. This is a fantastic film. A+.
