Review of Scrooge (1970) by Calvin D — 24 Dec 2009
A very extraordinary adaptation of Dickens' immortal tale. TRansforming it into a musical, this film brings forth newfound excitement and humour to the story. At 34 years old, Albert Finney is surprisingly brilliant as Scrooge.
The music is downright phenomenal. I fear I'll be singing these tunes for a while.
