Review of Scream 4 (2011) by Baurushan J — 29 Nov 2012
After the first three Scream movies made a huge success except for the third one which was beaten by critics because for Kevin Williamson not being the writer of the third movie like he was for the first two films which was a rubbish excuse to hate Scream 3 because the writing was still good and made the direction better, even though it was a different writer in Scream 3.
Now Dimension Films announced 10 years after Scream 3 that now is the perfect time to a fourth film when Wes Craven originally wanted a trilogy so now we got the latest fad known as Scream 4 starring Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courtney Cox, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and guest starring Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell.
The story is that it's been now 10 years since the killings of the third personal-minded Ghostface killer. Now, there's a new Ghostface in town who's using the rules of modern horror remakes to kill everyone once again that are close to Sydney Prescott.
But maybe due to the new decade and it's new horror rules, horror movie rules teachers Robbie and Charlie help with some of the clues. They announce that even virgins can die as well and the killer this time has a new spin that you can never guess it coming.
This is the best sequel yet to my second favourite horror movie that teaches us how remakes and modern horror movies work and I can't wait for a Scream 5. Scre4m gets a 10/10- that's right, it's equally as good as the first film.
