Scream 4 was definitely forth the wait. It had that old twist from Scream 1 for the old generation and the new twist for the new generation. So this was well thought out. It is a well rounded movie for the family to go and see.
I think the parent and kids will be talking about this movie for months. I would recommend to anyone who just wants to sit down and watch a good movie not just horror fans.
