This is how it has gone in the series:

Scream; this set the standard & was brilliantly devised with the plot, & characters. 10/10.

Scream 2; not as good as the original, but still extremely fun & ejoyable. 9/10.

Scream 3; it has creative kills & an interesting twist, but is full of plot holes. 8/10.

Then there's Scream 4, which easily beats out the the other sequels & is back to the standard of the original. A great new cast & a very interesting ending (won't give anything away, but WOW!) Easily one of the best movies of the year.
