Review of Scream 3 (2000) by Danny C — 19 Sep 2010
Kind of a lamer, less fresh version of the previous two. Nothing against Scream 3 but it gets hard to keep the saga going after two movies. And even after that, the third one still gives an awesome story line. Stab 3 is in full production and filming begins, but when the murders start piling up, everyone's a suspect.
This one is a lot more mystery/ suspense than horror/ slasher like the previous two. It's a great change and like I said an awesome story but falls just short of the previous two. The ending could have made a bit more sense but I think Wes Craven wanted to end his trilogy with a bang and with something the audience wouldn't forget, good or bad. But with a fourth sequal on the horizon, I wonder what he's got in store for us this time!
