Review of Scream 3 (2000) by Jorge Eduardo S — 23 Jun 2012
This was little more than a retread of familiar territory and in truth the franchise had become stale. Craven recycles ideas from Scream but also the ghostly apparitions of Sidney's mother appear to be pulled directly from the spectre of Tina from Craven's own A Nightmare on Elm Street.
A tired finale (at least at the time it was the finale) to a franchise that fails to justify any real legacy within the genre.
