Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Colm G — 20 Apr 2011
(Spoiler alert).
I believe no sequel to Scream will ever have the exact same impact that Scream had, but Scream 2 does a bloody (get it) well good job. Scream 2 is one of the best horror sequels I have ever seen.
A superb sequel, throughout watching this I kept on guessing and guessing who the killer/ killers were going to be and what a shocking twist it is, I never saw it coming.
The cast performance was absolutely brilliant, the style of the film is still a dark comedy and some of the deaths were outstanding ( RIP Randy).
This is why I love the scream franchise, it still keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. Wes Craven you are a horror genius.
