Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Fixer84 — 16 Mar 2023
Perhaps the best of the franchise, because here we reach an incredible metanarrative line. For being released in 1997, making a film, within the film, was a crazy idea, something totally original. And in this Scream succeeds well because it is its absolute master.
As indeed he also succeeds well in telling the rules of a sequel to a horror film, parodying and making fun of it, but never appearing to be taken for granted.
