Randy: "There are certain rules that one must abide by in order to create a successful sequel. Number one: the body count is always bigger. Number two: the death scenes are always much more elaborate - more blood, more gore - *carnage candy*. And number three: never, ever, under any circumstances, assume the killer is dead.".
Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson were able to bend the Slasher genre through Scream. Scream is a classic. Followed with 3 notable sequels, it is still a stand-out. Scream 2 may not be as good as the original but still it is a fine entertainment. Filled with suspense, drama, wit, and thriller. A must for every slasher fan! 4 out of 5 stars! :).
