Review of Scouts Honor: Inside a Marching Brotherhood (2014) by Kevin D — 08 Nov 2016
This documentary is a beautiful portrayal of the brotherhood of thousands of men who have been a part of the Madison Scouts from 1938 through the present. This film follows the lives of 3 young brothers during the 2012 competitive season.
It shares their lives, their successes, their struggles, and their relationships. The multi-generational brotherhood rallies around the young men who currently march in this drum and bugle corps and provide encouragement and financial support to help maintain the Madison Scouts as one of the premier competitive musical groups on the planet.
Please do yourself a favor and watch this film to learn about an aspect of competition not shown often enough in our society.
