I have liked Woody Allen movies in the past, but this was hard to watch. Scarlet Johanson is in my top 5, but she is a terrible actress. Besides that, the plot is super predictable and the jokes are tired and cliched.
In the past, I have given Woody Allen movies the benefit of the doubt in the cliche department because many of them were from before I started watching movies, and I assumed the movies I had seen more recently could be copying him, but this was recent enough that I know it was just not a very good movie.
