Review of Scoop (1996) by Moe J — 22 Jul 2012
I liked this movie. I had just watched "To Rome With Love" a couple of days before watching this movie, so I was glad to see a good Woody Allen movie after that mediocre film. I got invested in the plot of "Scoop" and I liked Woody Allen as the magician who ends up helping Scarlett Johansson in her muder investigation.
Hugh Jackman was rather charming, too, as the suspect in the murder investigation who Johansson falls for. It's not as good as "Annie Hall" or "Midnight In Paris", but it's pretty entertaining and a heck of a lot better than "To Rome WIth Love".
My rating: 2.5 stars out of 4 stars.
