Review of Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998) by Alexandre P — 05 Apr 2013

Oh Scooby-doo, you were my favorite cartoon as a kid, unfortunatly, you don't really hold-up for me today. This movie, like the cartoon series, is a lot of slapstick comedy with a horror themed plot around it.

The characters of Shaggy and scooby, are to my pleasure, still a lot of fun to watch, but the others ones are only flat stereotyped clichés of human beings. The film is extremly repetitive and is overall, not that funny.

But it's pretty damn scary for younger kids, I know cause it made me shit my pants in fear when I was one. The voice actors are really good thought and the animation is still relevant today. Again, it's meant for kids, and for them it's not bad at all.

But for me, the tv show is way better.
