Review of School Daze (1942) by Coolidge B — 25 Apr 2008
This was alright. Certainly not one of Spike's best in my opinion. While like always there is a great social commentary behind the film one of problems of color of skin even within the black community.
It also really opened up my eyes to what fraternities and sororities and what goes on in them. The musical numbers where done really well too. But the characters felt forced and where somewhat bland I really didn't care for them or got invested in the plot.
