Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Andy W — 10 Mar 2013
One of my top 3 favorite films. No matter how many times I watch it, I always choke up during Liam Neeson's speech. Sentimental? Sure, but it's effective and beautiful.
Plus, the final scene, with the survivors placing stones on Oskar Schindler's actual grave... touching.
Ben Kingsley turns in another fantastic performance. Mr. Kingsley sure knows how to act and really wraps himself in his roles. Plus, he has such an on-screen chemistry with Liam, it's amazing.
Spielberg deserved the Best Director Academy Award like few directors have.
