Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Michael A — 21 May 2009
Al Pacino shines in one of his best roles as Col. Frank Slade, which thankfully takes our eyes off Chris O'Donnell's weak acting. This is the simple story of a blind retired-army-officer spending the week-end with a naive college boy, and what they learn from it and from each other.
The way it is presented is beautiful, touching and even funny. A very good film, although it sometimes drags a little.
