Review of Scarlet Street (1945) by Dominic D — 04 Aug 2007
How is this film not really talked about as one of the best film noirs ever made? In my opinion, this film is so good it's disgusting. Edward G. Robinson is amazing at playing against type, and Fritz Lang is (simply put) one of the best directors of all time.
After finishing this masterpiece, I sat back in my chair, absolutely stunned and amazed at what I had just saw. That happens for me very rarely for any type of film I see. A perfect film.
