Review of Scarlet Street (1945) by Trent M — 22 Aug 2007
I just lost a fairly lengthy comment, so I won't belabor the point again.
This is an often overlooked film noir that more overtly reveals Lang's basis in Expressionism. Robinson plays the milquetoast and Joan Bennett plays the femme fatale.
I really like this film and consider it worth watching for any fan of Lang or film noir.
