Never has film noir been more delicious! robinson and bennett are great as the ill-matched bookkeeper and his tart lover. duryea is the perfect weasel of a man who is also the tart's real love(hah!) and stalwart margaret lindsay plays the tart's best friend, who is likewise of easy virtue.
