Review of Scarface (1983) by Robyn M — 27 Aug 2012
Brian De Palma spent a year and half of his life living and breathing Scarface, recreating the scoreboard and editting countless scenes. It failed to meet expectations in theatre. Yet it's the highest rented film. The film was ahead of it's era and now a classic masterpiece.
Al Pacino is undoubtably 1 of my favorite actors.
He's the king of Gang and Mob films. Although 'Godfather' and 'A scent of a woman' are my perferred Pacino films. Scarface paved His career and established his hollywood status.
