Review of Scarface (1932) by Alex S — 27 Dec 2013
Scarface is an iconic classic that looks deeper into the themes of ambition, corruption, and self-abuse. Al Pacino gives a great performance as one of the most effective characters in film history and Oliver Stone's very quotable script makes it all the more better.
This movie gets bashed for being too over-the-top but in reality it's nothing by today's standards. A revolutionary and intense film that will entertain anyone with a keen eye for excellent cinema.
